Manitoba Invites 27 Skilled Workers in April 17 Draw

Manitoba's Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) held an immigration selection on 17 April, issuing 27 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to skilled worker candidates. The draw focused on candidates already working in Manitoba and fully licensed in regulated professions.

The MPNP invited candidates who met specific criteria. They must be between 21 and 45 years old, have post-secondary education, at least two years of relevant work experience, and adequate language proficiency. Additionally, candidates needed a minimum ranking score of 621 to be considered for this draw.

The selection process was part of the MPNP's Skilled Worker Overseas stream. Notably, 3 of the 27 invited candidates had a valid Express Entry profile and job seeker validation code. These candidates were required to have been invited by the MPNP under a strategic recruitment initiative, designed to help employers in Manitoba recruit international candidates for immediate and ongoing skilled worker needs.

The MPNP's strategic recruitment initiatives aim to attract international talent to Manitoba. Employers must meet eligibility criteria and complete the province's ABC Recruitment Process to participate. The program's success is evident in this draw, with 27 candidates invited to apply for permanent residence.
