Mandaue City’s New E-Library Opens Doors to Free Digital Learning for All

Mandaue City has opened a new E-Library to help students, workers, and residents access online resources. The facility, launched on December 10, 2025, is run by the Department of Education (DepEd) in the Philippines under the leadership of Angelina Cagatulia. It offers free computer use, printing, and other services to support the community.

The E-Library provides 35 computers with internet access, each available for one-hour sessions. Users can extend their time when the facility is less busy. However, certain websites, including pornography and social media, are blocked to maintain a focused environment.

The new E-Library in Mandaue City expands access to digital resources for education and work. With extended hours, free services, and a secure environment, it aims to meet the needs of the local community. The facility is now fully operational under DepEd’s management.
