Mandatory Installation of Advanced Fire Extinguish Systems in All School Buses in UAE for Enhanced Student Safety
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced a new mandate that requires all school buses in the country to be equipped with advanced fire suppression systems starting from April 15, 2025. This initiative, aimed at enhancing fire safety, applies to both public and private school buses with a capacity exceeding 22 passengers.

Reacton Fire Suppression's systems have been certified under various international and local standards, including UAE.S 5041:2021, SASO 2946:2020, UNECE R107, and P-Mark SPCR183. This ensures that the systems meet both local and global safety requirements.
The UAE government will enforce compliance with the fire suppression system mandate through annual audits and local authority inspections. This regulatory oversight is intended to ensure that all school buses in the UAE are equipped with the necessary fire suppression systems, providing an additional layer of safety for the nearly 500,000 children who use school buses for their daily commutes.
