Major Rehabilitation Center in Krasnodar Nears Completion, Tripling Capacity

A major rehabilitation center in Krasnodar is nearing completion, with over half of the repair work finished. The center, located in the former surgical building of Krasnodar Regional Clinical Hospital No.1, is set to open after its reconstruction. It will offer 132 beds for 24/7 stay, a significant increase from current capacity.

The new center will house departments for neurology, traumatology, and orthopedics, providing individual rehabilitation programs and modern equipment for multi-stage recovery. It will accommodate patients recovering from injuries and surgeries, including those participating in the special military operation. The reconstruction is being funded by the regional budget as part of the 'Healthcare Development' government program.

In addition to the center's construction, Nikolayevsky Boulevard will undergo improvements. It will be widened and landscaped with a fruit garden, and a pedestrian zone will replace the existing spontaneous parking lot. The responsible regional government official for these projects has not been explicitly named in available search results.

Upon completion, the multifunctional rehabilitation center will provide enhanced recovery facilities for patients in need. The opening is planned after the building's reconstruction, with the center set to offer three times more beds than currently available. Meanwhile, Nikolayevsky Boulevard will benefit from landscaping and pedestrianization, improving the area's aesthetics and accessibility.
