All submissions, including fee payments, must be completed by this date through the official website, mahatet.in.

The exam will be conducted offline as a pen-and-paper test. Paper 1, for candidates teaching Classes 1 to 5, runs from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Paper 2, for those teaching Classes 6 to 8, follows in the second shift, from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.

Paper 2 candidates need either a graduation degree with B.Ed or Higher Secondary with a 4-year B.El.Ed or B.A.Ed. There is no age restriction for either paper.

Admit cards will be available for download from June 9, 2026, until the exam date. The MAHA TET 2026 exam will assess eligibility for teaching roles in Maharashtra's primary and upper primary schools. Successful candidates will meet the state's certification requirements for teaching positions. The results will determine qualification for recruitment in government and private schools.
