Magadan's First-Ever Academic Conference Unites 105 Young Researchers

The XXII City Academic Conference has begun in Magadan, bringing together 105 students from 19 schools across the region. Running until March 27, the event marks a first for the area, as no previous school conferences of this kind have involved local scientific institutions. The conference is dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia. It features 92 presentations spread across nine thematic sections. Each submission will be reviewed by experts from NEISRI, the Arctic Research Center, NESU, and subject teachers.

Participants include students from Magadan and three nearby districts. All attendees will receive certificates, while winners earn diplomas and prizes. The closing ceremony is scheduled for March 27 at 10:30 AM.

This event introduces a new level of academic engagement for Magadan's schools. With no prior record of similar collaborations, the conference establishes a direct link between students and scientific bodies. The outcomes may shape future educational initiatives in the region.
