Lupiro’s preschool finally gives every child a chair to call their own

For the first time, every pupil at Mamajusi Preschool and Primary School in Lupiro now has a chair to sit on. This small but vital improvement comes after years of community effort and outside support. Residents have long funded the school by selling their own farm produce, while donations continue to play a key role in its development.

The Schiefbahn Leprosy Relief organisation has been working to renovate Mamajusi Preschool and Primary School, a project made possible by the determination of Lupiro’s villagers. Until now, the community raised money by selling crops to cover basic school needs. Their efforts have ensured steady progress, but additional help remains essential.

The new chairs mark a tangible step forward for Mamajusi Preschool and Primary School. With continued funding, the school can keep improving conditions for its pupils. Donations remain open, offering a direct way to help children in Lupiro access better education.
