Lomond School Launches Bitcoin-Powered Scholarships

Lomond School has launched an innovative scholarship programme, the Satoshi Scholarships, powered by Bitcoin. The school is seeking 43 founding benefactors to support this initiative, which offers 42 scholarships in total, covering both boarding and day students. The curriculum will focus on Austrian economics and the principles of financial liberty.

The school has partnered with renowned economist Dr. Saifedean Ammous to develop a unique curriculum centered around Austrian economics. This will enable students to explore decentralized finance principles and interact with Bitcoin mining hardware, providing a practical understanding of monetary systems beyond traditional classroom theory.

The scholarships, covering the school's International Baccalaureate programme, are designed to empower students passionate about economics, innovation, and critical thinking. They aim to foster a new generation of leaders who understand and appreciate the principles of sound money and financial liberty.

Lomond School's Satoshi Scholarships, with the support of 43 founding benefactors, offer an unprecedented opportunity for students to engage with cutting-edge economic theories and practical applications. The school's partnership with Dr. Ammous ensures a rigorous and relevant curriculum, preparing students for a future shaped by digital currencies and decentralized finance.
