Launches charitable drive for Foundation Orphans' House Frankfurt, spearheaded by Knuspr
The "Knuspr Fill the School Bag!" campaign is an initiative launched by the online supermarket, Knuspr, in the Rhine-Main region. This campaign aims to support children cared for by the Frankfurt Orphanage Foundation, providing them with essential school supplies to help them succeed academically.
The goal of the campaign is to raise at least €2,500 in donations, which will be forwarded in full as Knuspr gift cards to the Frankfurt Orphanage Foundation. These funds will be used to equip the school bags of 50 children from the outpatient care of the Frankfurt Orphanage Foundation with school supplies, healthy snacks, and small gifts for the start of school by August 11.
If the donation target is not met, Knuspr has pledged to make up the difference. The donation campaign runs until August 11, 2025, and donors can contribute via the "Online Gift Card" function in the webshop or app. Donation amounts of €5, €15, €30, or €50 are available.
The Frankfurt Orphanage Foundation, based in Frankfurt am Main, offers a range of support services to families in need. This includes counseling for personal problems or crisis situations, help with everyday questions, social pedagogical counseling, and promotion in education, arts, and cultural areas. The outpatient care provided by the foundation is for children aged five and up, teenagers, and young adults living in Frankfurt am Main.
