Kumu Art Museum's First Kids' Exhibit, 'Tu and Whozzy', Opens This Friday
Kumu Art Museum in Tallinn is set to open its first exhibition designed specifically for kids, 'Tu and Whozzy', on Friday. This interactive show celebrates the museum's upcoming 20th anniversary next year and explores Estonian art in a playful, hands-on way.
The exhibition, which will remain open through fall 2027, is designed at a child's eye level, encouraging interactive exploration. Children from Kumu Art Studio helped select many of the works on display. Visitors can expect to see over 30 pieces, including paintings by Johann Köler and Paul Raud, and sculptures by Jaan Koort. 'Tu and Whozzy' expands on the permanent exhibition 'Landscapes of Identity: Estonian Art 1700-1945', offering a playful twist on Estonian art history.
Led by Characters Tu and Whozzy, young visitors can discover how art reflects identity in this unique, interactive exhibition. 'Tu and Whozzy' at Kumu Art Museum promises a fun and educational experience for children and adults alike.
