Kromek’s Radiation Tech Takes Center Stage at Europe’s Top Security Expos

Kromek has taken part in several high-profile security and defence exhibitions across Europe in recent months. The company showcased its latest radiation detection technology to government officials, emergency responders, and industry experts. Events included the Emergency Services Show in Birmingham, where Ken Nathan-Fillion, Kromek’s Strategic Account Partner, attended and engaged with Blue Light professionals, presenting Kromek's radiation detection solutions. Later that month, Michael Stephenson, Strategy and Commercial Director, joined Nathan-Fillion at the International Security Expo (ISE) in London, where they demonstrated Kromek’s Security and Defence Portfolio to government bodies and social security specialists. Meanwhile, Craig Duff and José Jimenez represented Kromek at the 15th CBRNe Protection Symposium in Malmö, Sweden, displaying the company’s D3S ID and D3M personal radiation detectors, designed for chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats. In November, Rachel Brown attended the World Nuclear Exhibition in Paris, showcasing Kromek’s Civil Nuclear radiation detectors to industry leaders. Shortly after, from the 12th to the 13th, Mari Tuomela, Michael Walton, and Ken Nathan-Fillion participated in NCT Europe at the Fire Service College in Moreton-in-Marsh, UK. As of January 12, 2026, Kromek has not yet announced any confirmed international trade fairs or exhibitions for the rest of the year. Kromek’s recent appearances at major security and defence events have put its radiation detection technology in front of key decision-makers, reflecting its focus on expanding its reach in civil, military, and emergency response sectors. No further public engagements for 2026 have been confirmed so far.
