Krasnodar’s New Construction Classes Bridge School and Industry in 2025
Krasnodar has expanded its education programme by launching eight new specialized construction classes in 2025. The initiative, backed by the city administration and regional construction firms, aims to give students practical skills alongside classroom learning. Nine schools now offer the programme, which began as a pilot in 2024.
The project started in 2024 with the first construction class at School No. 103. A transport and road engineering class also opened that year at School No. 98. By 2025, eight more classes had been added across the city.
The programme is open to eighth- and tenth-grade students as an extracurricular option. It blends theory with real-world experience, including field trips to construction sites and visits to industry exhibitions. Students also tour Krasnodar’s historic centre to study architectural and engineering heritage.
City officials worked with the Krasnodar Krai Ministry of Education and local construction companies to develop the curriculum. The goal is to provide hands-on training while connecting students with potential employers in the region.
The expanded programme now runs in nine schools across Krasnodar. Students gain direct experience through site visits and practical workshops. The initiative strengthens ties between education and the local construction sector.
