Krasnodar's 142 students advance to Russia's national Olympiad finals
A total of 142 students from Krasnodar's top schools have qualified for the national final of the All-Russian School Olympiad. The results highlight strong performances from several institutions, with some pupils securing victories in multiple subjects. Lyceum No. 1 led the way with 23 qualifiers, followed by Gymnasium No. 75 and Lyceum No. 90.
The competition saw standout achievements from individual participants. Eight students became two-time champions, boosting their chances of advancing further. Among them, Lev Plyushchay from School No. 75 and Georgy Nikolayenko from Lyceum No. 64 each won in three different subjects.
Most of the winners came from Gymnasia No. 25 and No. 36, as well as Lyceums No. 4, 48, 64, and 90. Each of these schools contributed between 15 and 35 successful candidates. So far, 32 teenagers have confirmed their spots in the final stage, with more expected to join in the coming weeks.
The results confirm Krasnodar's reputation for academic excellence, with multiple schools producing high numbers of Olympiad qualifiers. The finalists will now prepare for the national round, where they will compete against top students from across Russia. Their success reflects both individual talent and the strength of local education programmes.
