Krasnodar College Secures $2.6M to Boost IT Education and Regional Economy

The Ust-Labinsk Social and Pedagogical College has received significant backing for its IT cluster. The investment, totalling nearly 240 million rubles, comes from Oleg Deripaska's Volnoe Delo Foundation and En+ Digital. This support aims to enhance IT education and training in the region.

The college, part of an IT education cluster established under the federal Professionalitet program, has been fully equipped for high-quality IT training. Alexander Rudenko, Deputy Governor of Krasnodar Territory, recently visited the college to assess its progress.

He highlighted the growing demand for IT graduates across various sectors of the economy. Graduates of the college can expect opportunities to work at leading enterprises in energy, engineering, aviation, and agribusiness. The investment, made by the Ministry of Education of the Krasnodar Krai in 2023, is a testament to the region's commitment to developing its IT education infrastructure.

With an investment of nearly 240 million rubles, the IT education cluster project at the Ust-Labinsk Social and Pedagogical College is set to produce highly skilled IT graduates. These graduates will be well-positioned to contribute to the region's economic growth, particularly in its key sectors.
