Komi’s Free Career Program Opens Doors for Young Professionals in December
The Republic of Komi has opened applications for the next session of Komi: A Land of Opportunity, a major educational initiative. Launched in August 2023, the programme offers young professionals free training, networking, and career development. The upcoming event will take place from December 12 to 14 at the Raisa Smetanina Republican Ski Complex.
The project first ran earlier this year, attracting over 300 participants from every municipality in Komi. Young professionals like Svetlana Litvintseva from Syktyvkar improved skills in project management and public speaking. Yelena Chuprova from Ust-Tsilma worked on a case study focused on solving labour shortages in the Arctic zone.
The December session aims to build on the project’s early success. Participants will leave with new skills, professional connections, and potential career placements. Registration remains open for eligible applicants across the Komi Republic.
