Komi Launches Free Leadership Training for Future Civil Servants
A new training programme for young leaders in public service has been launched in the Republic of Komi. Sergey Yemelyanov, the region’s Deputy Prime Minister, announced the initiative in partnership with RANEPA, offering free training to promising civil servants. The scheme forms part of the wider Komi—Land of Action campaign to develop local talent.
The programme begins with remote lessons on Constitutional and Legal Foundations of Public Administration. After completing this first stage, participants will earn official certificates.
Organisers plan to grow the programme next year by including more participants and offering extra career support. The current cohort will bring fresh expertise back to Komi’s public sector. The certificates and hands-on experience aim to strengthen local governance in the long term.
