Kindergarten No. 20 'Golden Cock' Celebrates 50 Years, Wins Grant for STEM Education
Kindergarten No. 20 'Golden Cock' has cause for celebration this year, marking its 50th anniversary. The milestone coincides with a significant grant to foster creative thinking and engineering skills among its pupils.
The kindergarten, equipped with a sensory room, technopark, and Center for Children's Experimentation, has long been committed to innovative education. For years, its pedagogical staff has collaborated with the 'Ural Engineering School' project. Recently, the school started working with the 'First Watch', with plans to join the federal project 'Flagships of Possibilities'.
In Middle-Ural, initiatives like these are actively implemented to develop the younger generation, focusing on additional education and patriotic education. Soon, a new center of the 'First Watch' will open in the branch of School No. 6 on Bakhteeva Street. The center will receive necessary equipment and have a separate cabinet after approval. The institution set to join the federal project is School No. 6 itself, following an agreement with its director.
The grant will allow Kindergarten No. 20 to continue implementing educational programs in engineering and technology. The school's commitment to innovative learning spaces and partnerships ensures a bright future for its pupils.
