Khabarovsk students ace mock exams ahead of summer assessments
Over 15,000 students in Khabarovsk took part in mock state exams this year. The tests, held in Russian and mathematics, helped pupils prepare for their upcoming summer assessments. Officials have now released the results of these practice exams.
The regional mock Unified State Exam (USE) saw nearly 5,000 high school seniors participate. In Russian, 71 students scored over 80 points, with the top result—97 points—achieved by a graduate from the Academic Lyceum.
For mathematics, around 2,500 students sat the advanced exam, while just over 2,000 took the basic level. Twelve pupils earned high marks in advanced math, with the highest score of 99 points coming from a student at the Lyceum of Innovative Technologies.
Meanwhile, ninth-graders are also gearing up for their summer exams. They completed a mock Basic State Exam (BSE) in Russian on March 12, followed by mathematics on March 17.
The mock exams aimed to help students check their knowledge, focus on difficult topics, and avoid mistakes in the real tests. With results now published, participants can use the feedback to refine their preparation before the official assessments. The practice tests also familiarised pupils with the exam format and reduced potential technical errors.
