Kazakhstan’s Republican Hackathon unlocks careers for young tech talents
Semey's Higher College of IT and New Technologies recently hosted a Republican Hackathon with international participation, attracting students from Kazakhstan, Russia, and Kyrgyzstan. The event, aimed at developing professional potential and promoting inclusive education, featured three tracks: graphic design, web technologies, and system network administration.
In the web technologies track, Yerlan Dauletkaliyev from the hosting college secured the first position. Meanwhile, in graphic design, Yerali Abdulla from Pavlodar's College of Information Technology emerged victorious. The system network administration category was won by Nikita Kondyrev, also from Semey's Higher College of IT and New Technologies.
The hackathon provided participants with more than just competition. Social partners and sponsors offered internship opportunities and employment prospects, making it a platform for career growth. Both contestants and experts commended the event's high organizational standards, welcoming atmosphere, and fair judging.
