Kazakhstan Accelerates Digital Future with NVIDIA and Firebird AI Partnerships
Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with NVIDIA's Vice President for Global AI Infrastructure, Nicolo Martin Caprez, as well as Firebird AI co-founders Razmig Berg Ovakimyan and Alexander Esayan, Liter.kz reports.
During the talks, the parties discussed prospects for collaboration in designing, building, and operating AI infrastructure. The head of state emphasized that Kazakhstan aims to become a fully digital nation within the next three years. According to Tokayev, the launch of NVIDIA-powered supercomputing clusters marks a major step toward this goal and strengthens the country's technological sovereignty.
Tokayev also outlined plans for the strategic Data Center Valley project in Ekibastuz, designed to create a high-performance computing infrastructure with affordable electricity, telecommunications, and tax incentives for investors.
Representatives from NVIDIA and Firebird AI, in turn, shared details about a similar initiative underway in Armenia.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to explore opportunities for joint efforts in developing the AI ecosystem.
