Kazakh Professor Reaches Final of Global Teaching Innovation Awards

More than 1,000 educators from universities worldwide applied for the JoVE Educator Innovation Awards. The competition, announced in late September 2025, closed on November 21, 2025. Among the finalists was Assistant Professor Madaliyeva Sanam Khakimovna from Asfendiyarov KazNMU in Kazakhstan.

The awards sought innovative teaching strategies with real-world impact. Judges assessed entries on originality, educational value, and practical use. Only five educators globally reached the final stage, including Madaliyeva.
