Kamchatka Krai Leads in SVO Veteran Employment
In Kamchatka Krai, the employment of returning SVO veterans has become a key focus. The region is among the leaders in this area, with 80% of veterans currently employed. The Governor, highlighting the importance of this issue, has developed the 'Apple Support' complex of measures for cooperation in employment.
The 'Apple Support' complex involves collaboration between various companies and organizations, including local military support units, regional transport companies, and IT service providers. It offers four main vectors of cooperation in employment: within executive bodies, local self-government bodies, federal bodies, and the free labor market.
Veterans are provided with free training in higher and secondary vocational education programs, as well as professional retraining, even in educational institutions outside the region. This comprehensive approach has contributed to Kamchatka Krai becoming one of the leaders in the proportion of employed veterans.
The employment of SVO veterans is increasingly relevant in Kamchatka Krai. With the 'Apple Support' complex in place, the region is well-positioned to continue its leadership in this area, offering veterans a pathway back into employment.
