JRC Unveils Final Report on Industry Consultation, Offers Nine Key Recommendations
The Joint Research Centre (JRC), also known as Gemeinsame Forschungsstelle, has recently completed a comprehensive consultation project. The organisation conducted seminars in Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney to gather insights from industry professionals.
The consultation process kicked off with a discussion paper released on March 24. Initial feedback was invited via email on April 14. Each session was deliberately limited in numbers to foster intimate discussions. Face-to-face focus group consultations were held, delving into topics such as trends, strategy, collaboration, key agent issues, migration, accommodation, and student support.
Over the past three months, JRC has been assessing the sector's current state and identifying growth opportunities. The culmination of this process is the Final Report, which incorporates nine recommendations across four themes: strategic direction, welcoming destination, enhanced student experience, and addressing social licence. The Final Report is now available for download on the JRC website.
The JRC's consultation project has resulted in a detailed Final Report, offering valuable insights and recommendations for the industry's future. The report can be accessed online, providing a comprehensive resource for industry professionals.
