Children at Füssen-Schwangau Primary School recently enjoyed a lively reading session with author Jörg Steinleitner. The event brought his latest book, The Grandma Gang, to life with interactive storytelling and playful surprises. The young audience left eager to explore the detective tale on their own.

Steinleitner, who also serves as mayor of Riegsee, kicked off the session by reading from his detective story. He used a detective's horn and a picture-book cinema to make the adventure feel real. The children listened intently as the plot unfolded.

The event was far from ordinary. Pupils joined in by singing a song, answering questions, and even sharing their own theories about the story. Steinleitner's witty remarks and the group sing-along kept the energy high throughout.

By the end, many children were inspired to pick up The Grandma Gang themselves. The school now looks forward to two more visits from the author in the near future.

The interactive reading session left a lasting impression on the pupils. Their enthusiasm for the book suggests a growing interest in reading as an exciting adventure. Steinleitner's next visits are already anticipated with excitement.
