Iveco Daily's 2024 upgrade adds Alexa voice control and smarter suspension
Iveco has updated its Daily van range with a stronger focus on connectivity and driver support. The latest model introduces voice-controlled features and improved suspension for a smoother, more efficient drive. These changes come alongside upgraded engines and transmission systems designed to meet strict emission standards. The new Iveco Daily now includes the Iveco Driver Pal, a voice assistant powered by Amazon Alexa. Drivers can use voice commands to check vehicle status, set navigation routes, request roadside assistance, and receive driving advice. This system aims to reduce distractions while keeping key functions easily accessible.
Under the bonnet, the revised Daily offers three engine options. The **2.3-litre F1A** delivers up to 156 hp, while the **3.0-litre F1C** reaches 207 hp. A **3.0-litre CNG engine** remains available, producing 136 hp and 350 Nm of torque. All engines comply with **Euro 6/D final** (for light commercial vehicles) and **Euro VI/E** (for trucks), thanks to updated exhaust after-treatment technology. A new **6-speed manual transmission** boosts torque by 15 percent and extends service intervals to **350,000 km**. The **Air-Pro air suspension**, featuring **Continuous Damping Control (CDC)**, cuts vibrations by 25 percent and adjusts loading height in under ten seconds. These upgrades enhance both comfort and efficiency. Since its launch in 1978, the Iveco Daily has sold **2.6 million units** across **110 countries**. While no specific sales data exists for Alexa-equipped models, the latest updates aim to strengthen its appeal in competitive markets.
The revised Iveco Daily combines voice-activated controls, refined suspension, and cleaner engines. These changes target better efficiency, lower emissions, and improved driver convenience. The model continues to build on a long-standing reputation, with over 2.6 million units sold worldwide since its debut.
