Isle of Man’s 2026 career fair bridges young talent with top local employers

The 2026 Young Adult and Graduate Fair will return to the Isle of Man on April 1, 2026. Hosted by Locate Isle of Man, the event enters its sixth year with free entry and open registration. Organisers aim to connect young talent with local employers across a wide range of industries.

The fair will run from 11am to 4pm at the Villa Marina in Douglas. Zurich, the headline sponsor for the third year running, continues its support for the initiative. The event seeks to boost the island’s workforce by linking students and graduates with businesses offering jobs, volunteering, and training opportunities.

Last year’s fair attracted over 250 attendees and featured 57 exhibitors. As a direct result, 52 people secured roles, including 10 volunteer positions and 2 who gained support for professional qualifications. This year, 47 businesses have already signed up, spanning healthcare, finance, IT, iGaming, maritime, education, and recruitment. New additions include hospitality, emergency services, and a stronger presence from construction and engineering firms. Locate Isle of Man is working with Lancaster University, the University of Liverpool, and local high schools to encourage student participation. Free transport will be provided to ensure easy access for attendees. While registration is now open, the full list of exhibitors has not yet been made public.

The fair plays a key role in supporting the island’s economic growth by helping businesses fill vacancies and retaining young professionals. With a growing number of sectors represented, the event offers a broad range of career paths for attendees. Organisers expect another strong turnout in 2026.
