Interactive road safety lessons engage students in Magadan schools
Educators from the Magadan Regional State Autonomous Institution Yunost Youth Center conducted a series of preventive events aimed at raising students' awareness of traffic rules in schools across the Sukhum and Yagodninsky municipal districts, the Magadan Regional Ministry of Education's press service reports.
Using interactive equipment from the Safety Lab mobile complex, instructors taught pupils at Municipal Budgetary Educational Institution School No. 1 in Sukhum and Myaundzha Secondary School about safe road-crossing practices, "road traps" on winter roads, and held quizzes and games to test their knowledge of traffic regulations. They also reminded students of the importance of wearing reflective elements in low-light conditions and reviewed safety rules for riding motorcycles and personal mobility devices (PMDs).
The sessions focused on fostering responsible behavior among children on the road. These activities help strengthen a culture of road safety among younger generations and serve as a key component in preventing child traffic injuries.
