Over three years, 167,372 students have been trained through the platform, and 288,347 certificates have been issued. The separate AI track AI Sana has granted 47,399 certificates in 2025 alone, highlighting the youth's interest in advanced technologies.
It's important to note that the Coursera 2025 report employs the newly updated 3.0 methodology, which merges learner behavioral data with macroeconomic indicators such as human capital index, GDP per capita, labor market participation rate, and Global Innovation Index. For the first time, the AI Maturity Index is presented, assessing countries' readiness for AI adoption based on Coursera data, as well as data from the IMF and OECD.
