ICCPL Foundation Secures DO GOOD Award in the Year 2024
The ICCPL Foundation has been bestowed with the DO GOOD Award 2024 in the Child Welfare category, recognizing its stationery distribution initiative under the #RahatWithICCPL campaign. The initiative aims to aid children from marginalized communities by supplying essential educational resources. The campaign focuses on underserved areas where a lack of resources often hampers learning, ensuring continuity in education, especially during hardships.
Ambika Saxena, CEO of the ICCPL Foundation, expressed her satisfaction, stating, "This award reaffirms our commitment to addressing real, everyday needs. A simple school supply can bridge the gap between dropping out and staying in school. We are honored to be a part of these children's journeys."
While the stationery distribution is a significant part of their efforts, the ICCPL Foundation is actively involved in numerous social programs. These include donation drives, free meals, observance of International Sign Language Day for promoting inclusion, Vivah Utsav supporting the weddings of economically weaker couples, and tree plantation drives. All programs adopt a grassroots-first approach, aligning with the Foundation's long-term commitment to equity and empowerment.
The ICCPL Foundation, the CSR arm of the ICCPL Group, works across child welfare, women's empowerment, healthcare, and education, striving to build an equitable society through collaborative, community-first initiatives.
The Enrichment Data suggests that the initiative's impact goes beyond fulfilling a basic educational need; it also boosts the children's spirits. It reflects the power of collective action in creating a brighter future for children, contributing to both their academic and emotional well-being. The Foundation also engages in educational and inspirational talks, events empowering marginalized groups, and partnerships aimed at advocating for educational access. These activities underscore the Foundation's dedication to child welfare and broader social empowerment.
The ICCPL Foundation extended its reach beyond stationery distribution, engaging in educational and inspirational talks, events, and partnerships aimed at promoting educational access. Their commitment to creating a brighter future for children also encompasses personal growth and self-development, as they organize programs that foster learning and overall well-being.
