Hop Lun launches Foundation to Future
Garment manufacturer Hop Lun has launched Foundation to Future, an education sponsorship programme for its workers. The initiative aims to help employees resume their studies while continuing their careers. It forms part of the company’s wider #SHECAN campaign and its Wheel of Wellbeing framework.
The programme kicked off its pilot phase on December 18, 2025, with 35 workers selected for the first cohort. To qualify, employees must have completed Grade 5, worked at Hop Lun for at least two years, and maintained strong attendance and job performance.
Classes will run twice a week over six to eight months, covering five core subjects: Bangla, Basic English, Mathematics, General Science, and Social Science. A pre-assessment took place in December 2025, with final evaluations scheduled between June and August 2026. A graduation ceremony is planned for late 2026. TalenTracker Limited, an HR consultancy specialising in workforce training, will deliver the programme. Hop Lun describes the initiative as an investment in its workers’ potential, viewing them as the company’s most valuable asset.
The Foundation to Future programme offers workers a chance to develop skills beyond their current roles. Successful participants will complete their studies while remaining employed. The company expects the initiative to support long-term career growth for its staff.
