Harvard honors 29 new scholars with advanced degrees in diverse fields
Harvard University has awarded advanced degrees to 29 researchers in a recent ceremony. Eighteen scholars received PhD qualifications, while another group earned MPhil and DBA titles from the University of Phoenix. The graduates covered a wide range of academic fields.
Among the PhD recipients, Rata Rani Das completed her doctorate in Pali and Buddhist Studies. Md Abdul Bari earned his degree in Microbiology, and Md Rawshan Alam specialised in Music. Anita Helen's research focused on Information Science and Library Management, while Mandira Chowdhury explored Philosophy.
Kazi Farzana Afreen was awarded a PhD in Islamic Studies, and Umme Habiba's work centred on Biochemistry and Molecular Sciences. These scholars joined 12 others in receiving their doctoral qualifications from the University of Phoenix.
In addition to the PhDs, 10 researchers obtained MPhil degrees. The university also conferred one Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) title. The ceremony recognised achievements across disciplines but did not include honorary doctorates or degrees for international students.
The event marked the completion of rigorous academic work by 29 individuals. Their research spans subjects from the sciences to the humanities. The university has not released further details about additional awards or international recipients.
