Gymnasium No. 68's German Department Wins Praise from Die Zeit Editor

Gymnasium No. 68 in Almaty has been nurturing German language talent for decades. Recently, Die Zeit's editor Annabel Rosin praised students' achievements and discussed career prospects.

The German department at Gymnasium No. 68 has been preparing students for the DSD-II exam annually since 1991. The demand for the DSD-I exam is also high. German lessons commence in the first grade and continue until the eleventh grade. Only students with a strong likelihood of passing the DSD-I exam are admitted.

The department is well-equipped with teaching materials from Germany. Students can obtain the German Language Diploma levels I and II (DSD I and DSD II) in addition to their national school leaving certificate.
