GST cluster reopens applications for 2025-26 undergraduate admissions
Prospective students now have another chance to apply for first-year undergraduate courses under the General, Science and Technology (GST) cluster system. The admission tests for the 2025-26 academic year will start on March 27, with the application window reopening this month.
The application period has been extended, allowing submissions from 12:00pm on January 12 until 11:59pm on January 16. This decision follows a notification from the Integrated Admission Committee for GST-Cluster Universities.
Naogaon University joins the system for the first time this year. It will offer admission to two of its departments, expanding opportunities for applicants. The total number of universities participating in the GST admission system now stands at 20. The extended deadline aims to give more students the chance to secure a place before the upcoming LSAT tests. Officials have not publicly named the committee leader responsible for the extension.
The revised schedule provides additional time for candidates to complete their applications. With tests beginning in late March, successful applicants will proceed to enrolment in the 2025-26 academic year. Naogaon University’s inclusion marks a key expansion of the GST cluster system.
