Green University’s Career Expo 2025 Opens Doors to Jobs and Internships
The Internship Fair and Career Expo 2025 took place at Green University of Bangladesh (GUB) on Saturday. Under the slogan Step into a world of endless opportunities, the event brought together students, faculty, and industry leaders for career development and job placements.
The expo was attended by GUB’s vice-chancellor, pro-vice-chancellor, registrar, deans, chairpersons, faculty members, directors, and students. A total of 67 leading companies and organisations participated, offering internships and employment opportunities.
Several organisations conducted on-the-spot interviews and extended job offers to candidates. A Career Talk session was also held, focusing on professional growth and experience-sharing. Air Commodore Mahbub A Jahan, director of US-Bangla Airlines, spoke about career prospects, internship programmes, and recruitment strategies. He highlighted the importance of education, professional development, and aviation safety. His talk encouraged students to prepare for corporate sector challenges. Vice-Chancellor Sharif Uddin stressed the role of career expos and internship fairs in helping students secure their futures.
The event provided direct job placements and networking opportunities for attendees. Companies engaged with students through interviews and discussions on career pathways. The expo reinforced GUB’s commitment to bridging education and industry.
