Grand Canyon University Welcomes Four Trailblazers to Its Alumni Hall of Fame

Grand Canyon University has honoured four new members in its Alumni Hall of Fame. The inductees include leaders from business, education, healthcare, and technology. Each has made significant contributions in their respective fields.

Zachary Haptonstall, CEO and co-founder of Rise48 Equity and Rise48 Communities, was among those recognised. Since launching Rise48 in 2016, he has overseen more than $2.5 billion in transactions. The company initially focused on U.S. multifamily real estate but now invests globally in real estate development, management, and proptech. By 2025, its operations will expand further into the UK and Canada.

Britné Hart, principal of John F. Kennedy Academy of Inquiry, also joined the Hall of Fame. Her career began as an elementary teacher and instructional coach before moving into school leadership. Her work in education has emphasised innovative teaching methods and student development.

Matthew Shores, founder of Sports Medicine Express and director of sports medicine for FastMed, was another inductee. He established Sports Medicine Express to improve access to medical care for athletes. His efforts have helped bridge gaps in sports healthcare across communities.

Rachel Behling, vice president of IT Operations and Support at Honeywell, completed the list of honorees. She also serves as the Global Women in Technology mentorship chair at the company. Her leadership has supported career growth for women in the tech industry.

The inductees were introduced by deans from their respective colleges during the ceremony.

The four new members bring diverse achievements to Grand Canyon University's Alumni Hall of Fame. Their contributions span real estate, education, sports medicine, and technology. The recognition highlights their professional success and ongoing impact in their fields.
