Government Science College wins BUFT’s fiery national quiz showdown 2025

BUFT hosted a grand event, the 'M&J Group presents BUFT National Quiz Competition 2025', at its auditorium in Turag, Dhaka. The competition concluded with an award ceremony, group photo session, and a vibrant cultural programme featuring a fashion runway. Over 500 college students from across the nation participated in the event.

The quiz competition was inaugurated by Faruque Hassan, chairman of the BUFT board of trustees and former BGMEA president, as the chief guest. Mohammed Nasir, a member of the BUFT board of trustees, also attended as a special guest. The event was presided over by Professor Ayub Nabi Khan, the acting vice-chancellor of BUFT.

The competition was fierce, with students from various colleges showcasing their intellect. Government Science College emerged victorious, securing the champion title. Dhaka College took the position of 1st runner-up, while Bir Sreshtho Munshi Abdur Rouf Public College became the 2nd runner-up. Among the participants, Md Iftiyaf Ahnaf Shachchho, a student of Government Science College, was honoured as the best participant.

The 'M&J Group presents BUFT National Quiz Competition 2025' concluded successfully, celebrating the intellect and diversity of college students nationwide. The event not only tested the participants' knowledge but also provided a platform for cultural exchange and camaraderie.
