Goethe-Institut's 'Exchange2Change' Brings Apprentices Together in Kempten
The Goethe-Institut London's 'Exchange2Change' apprentice exchange program has been fostering international collaboration since 2022. Recently, 24 apprentices from Kempten and Burton-upon-Trent participated in the program, visiting the Allgäu Media Center in Kempten. The trip was graced by the presence of State Minister Eric Beißwenger, chairman of the 'Stiftung Jugendaustausch Bayern'.
During their visit, the apprentices explored the allgäu.tv studio, gaining insights into TV production from experienced hands Annette Bartl and Julia Treml-Thalkofer. The exchange program, which involves visits to vocational schools and collaborative workshops in both Germany and England, aims to broaden the apprentices' horizons and foster cultural exchange.
The young learners also delved into content creation for digital channels and print, guided by reporters from the Allgäu Zeitung and editorial director Markus Raffler. The apprentices, specializing in media and design, business, and childcare, benefited from this diverse learning experience.
The 'Exchange2Change' program continues to enrich the lives of young apprentices, providing them with unique opportunities to learn, collaborate, and grow. The recent visit to the Allgäu Media Center, under the watchful eye of Minister Beißwenger, is a testament to the program's success and the ongoing commitment of the Goethe-Institut London and its partners.
