Goa’s Startup Policy Fuels Innovation with ₹10 Lakh Seed Grants
Goa’s push to become a hub for innovation took another step forward on November 25, 2025. The Department of Information Technology, Electronics & Communications (DITE&C) held its 10th Expert Committee Meeting under the Goa Startup Policy. Early-stage startups from across the state pitched their ideas for a chance to secure funding and support.
The meeting focused on evaluating startups applying for the Seed Fund Grant Scheme. Each team was judged on five key areas: how innovative their idea was, whether it met a real market need, its technical feasibility, potential to grow, and readiness for commercial launch. The scheme offers one-time grants of up to ₹10 lakh to startups that have already developed a working prototype.
The results of the meeting will soon reveal which startups will receive funding. These ventures, built in Goa, aim to bring fresh solutions to both local and broader markets. The state’s focus on innovation continues to attract entrepreneurs looking to turn ideas into reality.
