Global Scholars Unite at ICCTASS 2025 to Explore Sustainability and Ethics in Arts

The International Conference on Challenges and Trends in Arts and Social Sciences (ICCTASS) 2025 took place on December 11-12. Organised by the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB), the event explored the theme ‘Sustainability, Creativity and Ethics: Insights into Interdisciplinary Perspectives and Practices’. Scholars, researchers, and policymakers gathered for two days of discussions and presentations.

The conference opened with an inaugural session attended by Nina P Cainglet, the Philippine Ambassador to Bangladesh, as the chief guest. Prof. Dr. Maria Schneider from the Technical University of Munich chaired the event, overseeing a packed programme of academic exchanges.

ICCTASS 2025 brought together diverse voices to discuss sustainability, ethics, and creativity across disciplines. The event highlighted ongoing research while fostering collaboration between academics, policymakers, and practitioners. Proceedings from the conference will contribute to broader conversations in arts and social sciences.
