Global Mobility Call Launches GMC Awards to Honor Sustainable Transport Innovators
The second edition of Global Mobility Call (GMC) has launched the GMC Awards, a new initiative to honour achievements in sustainable mobility. The awards will celebrate innovation, professional dedication, and practical solutions that support a greener future.
Four distinct categories will recognise contributions across technology, leadership, and urban transport efficiency.
The INNOWINNER Award by GMC focuses on groundbreaking technological solutions in mobility. Organisers have opened an online submission process, with entries accepted until October 2. Winners will be announced during the event.
The **Last Mile Challenge by Las Rozas Innova** targets sustainable and efficient urban mobility projects. This category offers over **€30,000** in prizes, with the awards ceremony scheduled for **October 25**. Meanwhile, the **Sustainable Engagement Award** will spotlight best practices tied to the **2030 Agenda**. The winner will be revealed on **October 26**, alongside other categories. The **PERSONALITY Award by GMC** acknowledges individuals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to sustainable mobility. Candidates are selected by the Executive Committee and experts from the Program Committee. All awards will be presented from **October 24 to 26** at the **IFEMA MADRID Exhibition Center**. The event itself will feature two main areas: the **GMC Congress Space** for discussions and the **GMC Expo Space** for showcasing innovations.
The GMC Awards will bring together leaders, innovators, and policymakers to highlight progress in sustainable transport. Winners across the four categories will gain recognition for their contributions to mobility solutions, with ceremonies taking place alongside the broader Global Mobility Call event in Madrid.
