Global AI Summit in Dubai Unites Leaders to Transform Education
The Day of AI Global Summit will bring together education leaders in Dubai this November. Hosted by DP World and MIT’s Responsible AI for Social Empowerment and Education (RAISE) initiative, the event aims to speed up AI literacy for teachers and students across the globe. Ministers from five countries will present their national strategies for integrating responsible AI into schools.
The two-day summit is scheduled for 18 and 19 November at Expo City Dubai. Discussions will cover AI literacy, policy design, teacher training, curriculum development, and the broader impact of AI on education systems. Leading the talks will be MIT professors Cynthia Breazeal and Eric Klopfer, who specialise in responsible AI adoption.
The summit will highlight practical steps for embedding AI in education. Countries will exchange strategies, while educators and policymakers explore ways to make AI tools accessible and ethical. The outcomes are expected to shape future AI policies in schools worldwide.
