Glenna Wright-Gallo to Keynote TSD Conference on Disability Policies
Glenna Wright-Gallo, a seasoned educator and advocate for individuals with disabilities, will deliver a keynote at the Transporting Students with Disabilities and Special Needs (TSD) Conference. The event takes place on Sunday, Nov. 9, in Frisco, Texas.
Wright-Gallo brings a wealth of experience to the conference. She has served as a special education teacher, state director of special education, and assistant superintendent. Most recently, she led the Policy Center of Excellence at Everway, advocating for individuals with disabilities and neurodivergent people.
Her keynote, 'Staying Mission-Focused: Leading Through Policy Shifts with Clarity and Confidence', will provide strategies to implement updated policies and ensure safe transportation services for students with disabilities and infants. Wright-Gallo will also lead a breakout session on the importance and role of Dear Colleague Letters issued by the U.S. Department of Education. Early bird discounts of $100 are available on main conference registration until Oct. 3.
