Georgia commences processing applications for no-cost brief educational training programs
The State Employment Promotion Agency in Georgia has announced the opening of applications for short-term professional training and retraining courses. Interested applicants can visit the Agency’s service centers nationwide to register and select their preferred professional field.
These free courses, fully funded by the State Employment Promotion Agency, last from one to three months and cover diverse sectors such as IT, beauty services, accounting, hospitality, culinary arts, engineering, education, home care, special needs education, and early childhood education. Both public and private educational institutions can submit applications to provide these courses, with documentation accepted for the 2025 program between August 11 and August 22.
In 2024, nearly 3,700 job seekers took part in the program and acquired new professional skills with agency support. Many participants have already found employment, demonstrating the effectiveness of these training programs.
Deputy Minister of Health, Giorgi Tsagareishvili, emphasized the importance of the training programs. He particularly encouraged educational centers, especially those in regional areas, to actively apply for the program. The Agency collaborates with 30 private and public colleges nationwide in offering these courses.
The number of beneficiaries for these training courses continues to grow each year, reflecting the increasing demand for such opportunities. The training programs are designed to strengthen citizens' skills and facilitate their rapid employment.
