GAU Hosts BNQF Training Workshop for Quality Assurance

Gazipur Agricultural University (GAU) hosted a day-long training workshop titled 'From Framework to Practice: Implementing BNQF for Quality Assurance and Accreditation'. The event, inaugurated by GAU vice-chancellor Professor GKM Mustafizur Rahman, aimed to enhance academic quality and institutional transparency at GAU.

The workshop, organized by GAU's Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) under the leadership of Professor Dr. Md. Beharul Islam, provided a comprehensive understanding of the Bangladesh National Qualifications Framework (BNQF) and hands-on training on its implementation. Professor Mustafizur Rahman, who chaired the event, emphasized the fundamental role of BNQF in ensuring excellence in education and preparing graduates for global standards. He also stressed the importance of accreditation for GAU and the necessity for each department to follow the clear roadmap provided by BNQF.

The workshop was chaired by Professor Nasrin Akter Ivy, director of IQAC, who delivered the welcome address, outlining the workshop's purpose and future plans.

The workshop, attended by faculty members and administrators, equipped participants with the knowledge and tools necessary to implement BNQF effectively. GAU's commitment to quality assurance and accreditation was evident, with the vice-chancellor himself inaugurating the event and the IQAC director chairing it. The university looks forward to reaping the benefits of BNQF implementation in enhancing its academic quality and institutional transparency.
