Galgotias University achieves record placements with ₹60 lakh top salary offers
Galgotias University has once again recorded a strong placement season, with top recruiters hiring students across technology, consulting, finance, and engineering sectors. The university's focus on employability and industry partnerships continues to boost career prospects for graduates.
This year, leading firms such as Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, EY, and Capgemini actively recruited from the university. Infosys alone hired 526 students, while Capgemini took on 228, Cognizant 205, and Larsen & Toubro Mindtree 119. The highest salary package offered reached ₹60 lakh per annum, with many other students securing roles between ₹15 lakh and ₹26.6 lakh per annum.
The university's efforts to strengthen industry ties have paid off. Multiple centres of excellence, developed in collaboration with corporate partners, now enhance skill development for students. A student-centred learning model blends practical training, real-world exposure, and academic coursework to smooth the transition from education to employment.
Globally, Galgotias University has improved its standing in recent rankings. In the QS World University Rankings 2026, it placed in the 1201-1400 band. The Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2025 positioned it 45th among Indian institutions and within the 1001-1200 global range.
Beyond placements, the university is also pushing innovation through entrepreneurship and startup programmes. These initiatives aim to equip students with the tools to launch their own ventures.
Galgotias University's placement performance reflects its growing reputation among employers. With expanded industry collaborations and a focus on practical learning, the institution is reinforcing its role in bridging education and careers. As of March 2026, however, the total number of students placed with top recruiters this year remains undisclosed.
