Future-Ready Careers Take Center Stage at Halle's 2026 Chance Fair
The Chance career fair will return to Halle (Saale) on February 20–21, 2026, with a focus on 'Jobs of the Future'. The event will showcase vocational training, employment opportunities, and support for aspiring entrepreneurs. Organisers promise interactive exhibits and practical advice for students and jobseekers alike.
At the fair, the Halle-Dessau Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) will lead discussions on apprenticeships and self-employment. Their information booth in Hall 1, Stand C3, will offer career planning resources and personal guidance. Visitors can also explore open internships and training positions via the hallo-beruf.de platform.
Interactive activities will play a key role, including the nationwide Now #SkillsForLife – Training Unlocks Our Potential campaign. Hands-on exhibits will let attendees test skills relevant to future careers. The Halle-Saalekreis Founders' Network will support budding entrepreneurs, even hosting a student quiz with prizes.
The event follows a 2025 report highlighting 187 IHK-affiliated companies newly committed to training within the Halle-Dessau region. Sascha Glässer, IHK President, stressed the need for skilled workers to drive the area's economic transformation.
The fair will connect students, trainees, and businesses under one roof. Attendees can expect practical insights into training, employment, and entrepreneurial skills. Organisers aim to equip visitors with tools for navigating tomorrow's job market, including tips on how to showcase their linkedin profiles and search for jobs on indeed.
