New Police Commissioner Candidates Officially Welcomed in Hagen

On Monday, September 1, 2025, a significant event took place at the reception hall in Hohenlimburg. The Hagen Police warmly welcomed 279 aspiring student loan recipients, including 8 government inspector trainees, marking the beginning of a formative chapter in their lives.

The new students were officially welcomed by Police President Ursula Tomahogh and the training leadership. This event marked the appointment as a police commissioner trainee in Hagen.

Upon successful completion of their studies, the trainees will be appointed as police commissioners. The aspiring government inspectors will earn the academic title of Bachelor of Laws, while the other trainees will be awarded the academic title of Bachelor of Arts.

The students will start their dual studies at the University of Police and Public Administration NRW (HSPV NRW) in the coming week. The study program combines theory, training, and practice, ensuring a comprehensive education for the future police commissioners.
