Future Makers: Junior Cup 2026 Opens for Global Student Innovators
Applications are now open for the Future Makers: Junior Cup 2026, an international contest for students aged 11 and above. The competition invites participants from 37 countries, including vocational, university, and graduate students, to tackle real-world challenges set by companies and local governments. Organisers have already confirmed an in-person final in Moscow next April, with regional delegations like the Kemerovo Talent Center sending over 70 contestants to last year’s defences.
The contest runs two separate tracks: the Engineering Cup and the City Cup. Both require participants to develop and present a project case study with a creative yet practical technical solution. Teams or individuals—each allowed up to five members, including a mentor—will compete to address problems posed by businesses and municipalities.
The FM:JCup continues to expand, drawing young innovators from dozens of countries. This year’s participants will again face industry-backed challenges, with the top solutions earning recognition at the Moscow finals. Organisers expect strong competition as teams prepare their projects for submission by early February.
