The Freiburg Trade Fair will open its doors in early February, offering hundreds of opportunities for vocational training, study, and employment. The two-day event, organised by Freiburg Wirtschaft Touristik und Messe GmbH & Co. KG, will run from Wednesday, February 4, to Thursday, February 5, 2026, with free entry for all visitors.
The Job-Start Fair will take place across three exhibition halls, featuring 204 exhibitors. These companies will present 258 different vocational training programmes in industries such as manufacturing, retail, skilled trades, hospitality, IT, media, and services. Visitors can explore options from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday and from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Alongside the main fair, the Health & Care Jobs Fair will run in Hall 3. This section includes 29 exhibitors, providing specialised advice for career changers and those returning to work. The Career Cinema will also offer practical videos showcasing various training professions, while a central advisory hub will assist with educational and career planning.
The event aims to connect job seekers, students, and professionals with employers and training providers. No prior registration is required, and admission remains free throughout both days.
The fair will bring together a wide range of industries and training opportunities under one roof. With free access and extended opening hours, organisers expect strong attendance from those looking to start or advance their careers. Detailed information on exhibitors and programmes is available through the event's official channels.
