Free workshop explores how reading aloud transforms early childhood learning

Join us for 'Adventure in the Ear: Reading Aloud as an Educational Opportunity', a free, all-day event on Wednesday, November 26, at the Lörrach District Office. This professional development day, organised by Stiftung Lesen and Deutsche Bibliotheksgesellschaft, aims to enhance reading aloud as a crucial part of early childhood education.

Running from 9:00 AM to 4:15 PM, the event will demonstrate how reading aloud supports children's linguistic, emotional, and cognitive development. Participants, including educators, childcare providers, and partner organisations, can choose from various workshops showcasing methods and practical examples.

A 'Marketplace of Opportunities' will also be available, providing a platform for networking and exchanging ideas with local projects and initiatives. The goal is to foster children's language skills and inspire a love of stories in everyday settings.

The event is free, with registration open until November 19. Don't miss this chance to learn, network, and contribute to the vital role of reading aloud in early childhood education.
